The Golden State Warriors Media Day is off and running at the team's practice facility in downtown Oakland and among the topics being discussed: Kevin Durant's social media activity and the potential White House visit to celebrate the team's NBA title.
Warriors general manager Bob Myers kicked off the media day festivities today, and when asked about the potential visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, he said a decision has not yet been reached, but the team has had "discussions" with the White House. He said he expected the Warriors to discuss the White House visit next week, but some players are already making their stance known.
Steph Curry, who has been critical of President Trump from the start, told reporters today that he'll vote "no" when the time comes.

As Curry noted, it's not just his decision whether or not the team visits President Trump, but the general feeling you get from the players is that the answer will be a resounding "no" when they have to make a decision.

The Warriors will open up the 2017 NBA season as part of TNT's opening night double-header. The defending champs will play host to the new look Houston Rockets at Oracle Arena on Tuesday, October 17th at 10:30pm ET, following the much anticipated showdown between LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers and Kyrie Irving's Boston Celtics at the Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland.
