He refused to answer questions about Trump.

ASAP Rocky's new interview with SHOWStudio finds the rapper opening up about a number of topics in an intimate, uncut interview. Rocky isn't afraid to express when he doesn't like a question, refusing to speak about Trump whatsoever ("Don't ask me no shit like that on camera sweetheart... don't play yourself.") However, he's less guarded when it comes to subjects including drugs, feminism and the Black Lives Matter movement.

When asked about his drug-use, Rocky made sure to draw a line between his preferred intoxicants and others. "Let's not call it drugs. When you call it drugs, you make me sound like a fuckin' crackhead," he said. "At the end of the day, I do LSD, I smoke Marijuana. Bob Marley did it, ganja, it's the earth, it's the roots, it's the motherland. That's just natural right there. I'm not justifying what I do. I'm just letting you know how it is. I don't do no fuckin' drugs. There's people who do tobacco and it kills them quicker than half of the "drugs" I've used.

Later on, the rapper was asked if he identified as a feminist. "Nah, I just practice feminist ways," he said. "I've got a lot of the beliefs. But I'm too A$AP Rocky to be a feminist, right? The way I look at women as far as God's best creation might come across as misogynistic. Or looking like I'm using women as an object. It's really infatuation and admiration. A lot of people share it. It's all about how you verbalize that. I support feminists all the way. 'Cause I agree. It's a male-dominated world for the most part. I think at some point people are going to stop caring about 'oh, she has a vagina, she can't do that. But he could.' I've said it before. It's gonna start changing."

The interviewer also gave Rocky the opportunity to clear up his feelings about the Black Lives Matter movement, given his comments on the Breakfast Club where he criticized what he called a "bandwagon" approach. "When it comes to Black Lives Matter, at first I didn't fully understand it," he said. "What it really should be is 'does black lives matter to white people in America?' When you ask me as a black man if black lives matter, 'hell fuckin' yeah.' But, that's not the question, so yes, Black Lives Matter. And my life."
