Fresh off the arrival of his most recent “Bring Me Down" clip, premiered with HNHH, Atlanta emcee Jonah Cruzz has returned with his latest in the form of his “Black Man” single.
Continuing to carry the swagger of the pioneering voices of hip-hop in the southern city, Jonah Cruzz’s “Black Man” is a cut laden in funk as he poetically lays the elements of his upbringing and the person he has become over wax. The new track is one of the newer recordings that did not find a place on last year’s Just to Get By album. All the while, the cut serves as an extension of the message we received throughout Just to Get By as Jonah artfully uncovers the struggle and triumph of the “Black Man.”
Quotable Lyrics:
Yes, I'm a young black man
But I stand for a big, black cause
Stay in some all black clothes
And I came in a big, black car
This how a black man ride
Yes, Lord I'm a big, black boss
Might have a black man's swag
But you ain't got a black man's sauce.
