Kevin Gates is certainly no stranger to sparking debates with his wild antics, and this week has been no exception. The Louisiana rapper teamed up with his daughter, who goes by Jade online, to make some fun TikToks. Unfortunately, however, their outfits raised some eyebrows. She wore a full furry costume, while Gates wore just the headpiece and a pair of jeans.
This, of course, has prompted a huge debate in DJ Akademiks' comments section. While some Instagram users find the videos to be bizarre and unsettling, others are praising Gates for participating in them. After all, it looks like his daughter is making this kind of content with or without him, and he could have simply been trying to make her happy.
Kevin Gates Makes TikToks With His Daughter
"This the most random thing i’ve ever seen," one commenter claims. "Furry gates gives me nightmares," someone else says. Luckily for Gates, not all of the comments were critical. "I don’t support furries but can’t hate a dad having fun with they kid," a fan writes. "As he should," another adds. At the time of writing, Gates has yet to address the uproar. It's not the first time his parenting earned big reactions, however.
Last year, he also shared a clip of himself teaching his daughter to drive, despite her being just ten years old. In the clip, he even told her that she didn't need to worry about wearing a seatbelt because he "don't raise p***y." For obvious reasons, fans weren't feeling this and encouraged him to be more responsible when it comes to his kids. What do you think of Kevin Gates putting on a furry costume and making TikToks with his daughter? Do you think the videos are harmless, or should they have stayed in the drafts?
