Meek Mill says that he's not trying to continue beefing with Cassidy, and that he won't be releasing another diss track, but he doesn't seem to mind throwing shots Cassidy's way on a freestyle. Recently while on Philly radio station Hot 107.9 Meek spit some bars aimed at his fellow Philly rapper, followed by an in-depth conversation on air.
Before Meek and The Q Deezy Show get to talking, Meek went off on a freestyle acapella, and then over Drake's "Started From The Bottom" instrumental.
Among his bars, the MMG rapper spits (via), "First off, [...] your chick, homie, get a blood test / You a upset homie, where the love at? / When we talkin' 'bout Philly, know I can run that / Same place I been on corners, you could never come back," he raps. "When you was screaming 'Come to my hotel,' homie we was slinging work out the motel ... / Let's keep it trilla, you ain't never make a dope sell / You ain't never played that corner, made a [...] sell."
Meek talks on a lot of current topics, including his business ventures, Rick Ross' shooting, Chris Brown (whom he says he has no problems with), Rihanna (he says he had "dreams about Rihanna" but "I never had Rihanna ever"), his new mixtape Dreamchasers 3 and more.
He reveals that he's got an endorsement deal being worked out with Monster Cable Inc., who as we recently reported, added Swizz Beatz to their roster. "I'm working on a deal right now with Monster, the first people that produced Dre Beats," he said, before mentioning his Puma deal.
Meek keeps it brief when addressing the Rozay shooting, which Wale also spoke on recently. "Man, people get shot at everyday b. Seriously, people get shot at everyday. He ain't get shot, he definitely cool," Meek said.
