Adidas and Portland Trail Blazers All-Star Damian Lillard have confirmed three new colorways of the Dame 4 in collaboration with iconic Japanese streetwear brand Bape.
All three Bape x Adidas Dame 4s will release on February 16th for $150 a pop during Adidas' 747 Warehouse event in Los Angeles.
The collab draws on inspiration from Bape’s iconic shark design and its distinctive decorative elements, specifically the camo print. The kicks, which come in black, green and red, also include 'WGM', symbolizing World Gone Mad, as well as, 'YKWYTII', Damian’s ‘You Know What Time It Is’ moniker.
“I became even more inspired by the brand when I visited BAPE’s store in Japan,” said Lillard. “From that point, I knew I wanted the first major collaboration for my signature line to be with BAPE.”
747 Warehouse is a two-day event in basketball culture that will showcase the best in music, footwear releases and open source creation. The event represents the ultimate intersection of sport and culture and embodies the best of adidas in one place. 747 Warehouse will open its gates on Friday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, February 17 at noon.
The Dame 4 BAPE Black Camo and Green Camo will also be available on February 17th for $150 at adidas.com and BAPE.
