We may still be waiting for Phresher's PH album, but it would appear the wait has become a little less hectic. Today, the New York baritone has come through to deliver a new single by the name of "TeamWork," which features the assistance of Philthy Rich and Derez De'Shon. It's evident that Phresher has lived through some hardships, but that's never been a deterrent for the young talent. In fact, it's added an authentic sense of world-weariness to his delivery; you can hear the dueling presence of pain and hope behind his words.
In terms of energy, "TeamWork" is a heavy listen, with an up-tempo beat and plenty of ad-libs. Yet there's a sense of emotional power permeating throughout, and the melodic bars are strong from all participants.
