G-Herbo grabs Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Jeremih and more for his debut album.

It's crazy to think that it was five years a go when G-Herbo, who went by Lil Herb at the time, came onto the scene. Since then, he's been a promising voice in hip hop. He came in around the same time that Chief Keef and GBE were introducing drill to the masses. Herbo alongside with his frequent collaborator, Lil Bibby, stood out from the crowd. Bringing raw street lyricism over top drill production, Herbo's first studio album has been anticipated for quite sometime. He's teased bits and pieces of the project throughout the year, even teasing other projects simultaneously. However, the day has finally come that Herbo releases his debut album Humble Beast.

G-Herbo began the roll out of the project back in March with the release of "Red Snow". Since then, he teased the project with "I Like", "Everything" with Lil Uzi Vert and yesterday, he unveiled the bonus track "This N That" with Lil Yachty and Jeremih. While the features on the project are minimum, it gives him more space to tell his own story. With a fifteen song tracklist, the rapper gets production from Southside, Maaly Raw, Don Cannon and many others as well.

"I feel like ‘Humble Beast’ is the introduction to who I am. To who Lil Herb/G Herbo is to everybody. To the fans and to people who have never heard my music before. That’s what it is. An introduction to me." He told us in a recent interview.

And he holds true to that statement. The album gives raw street narratives from his own perspective and he balances it with not only introspective songs from his own life but he got some bangers on the project for you to cruise to.

A few weeks back, the rapper dropped #S4MF2: Road To Humble Beast Playlist to hold fans over until it's release. Herbo clearly doesn't have any shortage of music either. The rapper has previously teased a project with 808 Mafia's Southside called Swervo and he's also teased a collaboration project with Lil Bibby. While the wait for the album is finally over, for Herbo, it's just the beginning.
