Chance The Rapper will also be in charge of the events creative design.

At 24 years old, Chance The Rapper has made a few impressive feats. He's already accomplished more within the few years of his musical career than some have in their whole lives. He's a refreshing face of hip hop that not only delivers incredible music but also uses his platform to educate the masses and give back to his community. He's been open about his early relationship with Obama back when his father used to work for the former president in Chicago. However, Chance later built his own relationship with him. Today, the Obama Foundation revealed that Chance will be heavily involved in the organizations inaugural summit.

Last month, Obama announced that he'd be launching his inaugural Obama Foundation Summit. Today, he posted a video on the foundation's YouTube page with an announcement from Chance the Rapper. The Chicago MC will not only be headlining the concert at the end of the two day summit but he'll also be curating it. Along with Chance, he'll be joined by The National as well as Gloria Estefan. While those are the only three artists announced thusfar, he later added that he has some special friends that'll also be performing that evening. Chance seemed ecstatic about the opportunity and delved into more information about his involvement.

"As soon as I heard about the summit I jumped at the opportunity. There’s a lot of great things going on Chicago and I love the collaborative effort of being able to be at some of these talks and hear what people have going on and figure out how I fit in.” Chance said in the video.

The Obama Foundation Summit is a two day event that'll take place in Chicago on October 31st and November 1st. The event will draw local, national and global civic leaders to come together to "exchange ideas, explore creative solutions to common problems, and experience civic art, technology, and music from around the world." They will be announcing other performers in the near future and will also have a live stream of the whole event and "opportunities to participate virtually."
