Spotify's one of the leading streaming services across the world. In addition to making music more accessible for fans, they also help introduce new artists to the masses through their curated playlists. "RapCaviar," which serves as one of the leading playlists on the platform for breaking new artists, introduced their live concert series last year . Now, they're launching a full blown tour featuring some of the hottest hip hop acts.
Earlier today, Spotify announced the "RapCaviar" tour featuring Migos, 2 Chainz and Tory Lanez. They're bringing the show to 13 shows across the U.S. but they've only released information on four of the upcoming dates this year. It'll kick off in L.A. on March 27th with 2 Chainz, Tory Lanez, DJ Mustard & friends, Lil Pump, Rich The Kid and Jae Murphy will perform. They'll then hit Charlotte, NC on May 1st with Migos and Trippie Redd with the same line-up happening in Southaven, Memphis, on May 3rd. On May 19th, Migos and Trippie Redd will be joined by PnB Rock for a stop in Philadelphia.
The announcement comes at the heels of RapCaviar curator, Tuma Bass, parting ways with Spotify. The company didn't reveal exactly why he left but his efforts with Spotify and RapCaviar made them a hot spot to find new artists.
