The LOX have recruited some big names and talent to executive produce their comeback album. Both Swizz Beatz and DJ Khaled have signed on as executive producers of the project for Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P, collectively known as The LOX.
In an interview with MTV, Sheek revealed the two producers on the upcoming LP, “"The last meeting I had was with Swizz and Khaled and they're executive producing this new LOX album." While details are still murky as to what label this will be released under, as they long ago parted ways with Bad Boy.
It was not revealed if it would be under Khaled or Swizz’ label, but apparently the rap group have had their fair share of suitors. There was even talk with possibly re-signing with Diddy’s label, “Lil Wayne tried to sign us, Puff tried to re-sign us and paint that picture over, we done been in mother---ers' living rooms and talkin' business.”
Sheek went onto say that although they met with some other monstrous names in hip hop, it was Swizz and Khaled who caught their attention, saying, “The meeting we just had with Swizz and Khaled about executive producing this project was the one that grabbed us and we're gonna give y'all some real, real big records."
Working with Swizz Beatz has its benefits, as besides being a fantastic hit-maker producer, you get access to his wife, the talented Alicia Keys. The D-Block/Wu-Block rapper did just that, “I was just in the studio the other night with us and Alicia Keys working on the Lox project and get ready y'all," Sheek revealed. "I'm sorry for the delay and the wait, but this joint is gonna be monstrous, man."
