As a new year just begins, people all around the world are flocking to the gym to start new routines. There's no way of knowing how many of these resolutioners will remain a month from now, but we do know what they're listening to now. According to Spotify, Eminem, Post Malone, and Kendrick Lamar have the most streamed workout songs both globally and in the U.S. As pointed out by Variety, the service's latest trend report has revealed that Eminem's "Till I Collapse," a fan favorite from 2002's The Eminem Show, which was never released as a single, is the most popular workout song globally. Behind it is Post Malone's 2017 hit "rockstar," which was unseated from No. 1 o the Hot 100 just a few weeks back. At No. 3 is Eminem's 8 Mile single "Lose Yourself," while No. 4 goes to Kendrick Lamar's "HUMBLE." Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy single "POWER," which has become something of a sports anthem, comes in at 10.
The U.S. data is only slightly different with "rockstar" taking the top slot, followed by "HUMBLE." and "Till I Collapse." Current rap hits like G-Eazy's "No Limit," Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," and Migos' "Motorsport" also appear.
The most popular workout playlists on the service include “Beast Mode,” “Workout Twerkout,” “Latin Dance Cardio” and “Throwback Workout.” According to the report, users have created over 25 million workout playlists.
