Young Thug couldn't contain his laughter.

Lil Woody sent Young Thug into a fit of laughter during the latest hearing in the YSL RICO trial after responding to a question about Rich Homie Quan. In a viral clip of the moment, Woody responds facetiously to a question about Thug having Rich Homie Quan over. "Thug, did you have an issue with Rich Homie?' Woody asks Thug, before turning back to the prosecutor. "I'm answering you. I just told you several times." As the camera pans over the Thug, he's breaking into laughter.

As the clip circulated on social media, fans joined Thug in the laughter. "Is this the only witness they got [laughing emojis]. I know they did not base their whole case on him," one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another joked: "He the starting point guard that just. Got a max deal for this case and he foldin the franchise." One more wrote: "No one is taking this case serious anymore. Almost everyone in the room was holding back laughing."

Opening statements are set to begin in the case against 31-year-old US rapper Young Thug and 28 others, who are facing a racketeering indictment accusing the defendants of a number of offenses that support an overarching conspiracy charge, including murder, assault, carjacking, drug dealing, and theft. Tuesday marked Woody's 16th day on the stand as one of the state's star witnesses in the case. He previously made headlines by admitting to having lied about Young Thug back in 2015 to help himself out of legal trouble. “The police kept locking me up for whatever they could,” he said. “Every time I counted the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So what I did was to get ’em out off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

Lil Woody's Antics Continue In YSL RICO Trial

It's not the only viral moment from Woody's testimony either. He's also fired his lawyer on the stand, tried to bait Thug's attorney, Brian Steel, into saying the n-word, and more. Be on the lookout for further updates on Lil Woody and the YSL RICO trial on HotNewHipHop.
