On the soundtrack for Birdman’s Cash Money: Before Anythang documentary, you’ll find a stacked list of featured artists that include Young Thug, Migos, Gucci Mane, Jacquees, Dej Loaf, Ralo, Robb Banks, Turk and even Mannie Fresh as he reprises his role as one-half of Big Tymers alongside Baby himself.
The project accompanies the film initially released back in February as an account of the origins of Birdman as a local rapper in New Orleans to his ascension as the man and mogul behind one of hip-hop’s most definitive empires.
In total, Birdman makes four appearances on the album, one of which is a Kodak Black collaboration in the form of “Any Weather.” On the cut, the veteran and the torchbearer tag team with a familiar bravado as they declare, “I'm fly in any weather ni**a.”
It’s a pairing we’ve seen before as Birdman previously hopped on Kodak’s “Projects” cut, found on the deluxe version of his Project Baby 2: All Grown Up effort. This time around, the duo’s focus isn’t as set on the struggle and come up as it is on the triumph and braggadocio. Sound off with your thoughts on the collab down below.
Quotable Lyrics:
G5, spreading blue hundreds call it peacock
Different color money got me out here with the pink eye
See about me ni**a I was fly since I was knee high
Nolia boy swag Reebok with my Levi's
