Fans of Kobe Bryant's signature sneakers will be happy to know that it looks like Nike has plans to retro his iconic line of kicks.
Kobe teased the release of a retro line on his IG stories with a photo of him holding his first Nike shoe, the Nike Zoom Kobe 1, along with a caption that reads, "We’re always looking to build on things that we’ve done in the past to try to improve them."
Nike has re-released some old school Kobes in the past, including the "Fade To Black" pack as well as the "Prelude" Collection, but both of those were limited edition runs. Hopefully this time around the Kobe retros will be more readily available.
As of now there are no details regarding when Nike plans to release any retro Kobe sneakers, but "Mamba Day" is celebrated on April 13th and that seems like a perfect time to introduce the return of some of Kobe's classics.
