G-Eazy has released his third single/video off of December's The Beautiful & Damned. He seems to be taking things in stride and adding diverse effects in all his works, as far as this project concerned.
"Sober" begins with the rapper waking up in a garbage pile with cuts and bruises over his eyes in what appears to be the drunken aftermath of a rowdy night on the town. As he shakes himself off, somewhat disgruntledly, the camera pans to a women's finger nails closing the door to a shed. The rapper then transforms into his younger self as he reflects upon regretful decisions which all too knowingly presented him with immediate reward. But alas the good tidings end with him cycling back to the garbage deposit where it all began.
G-Eazy recently alluded to his 4th album nearing completion, but is showing no signs of tanking on his third, as it continues to offer "big hit" potential on several fronts. Peep the video and give us your thoughts on the song+concept realization.
