The collective of Doom, Wu-Tang's Inspectah Deck, and 7L & Esoteric have recently connected for a sixteen track album, layered with gritty production and comic-book flavor. It's a far stylistic cry from the contemporary trap sound of today, but rest assured, it's a welcome deviation. If you grew up with any appreciation for underground hip-hop, you mustn't sleep on this album. Shades of Doom's classic Madvillany permeate throughout, which bodes well for fans of that classic drop.
