Nike and LeBron James officially introduced his 15th signature sneaker, the Nike LeBron 15, earlier this month and today more detailed images and release details have been revealed.
The first colorway of the Nike LeBron 15 to hit retailers is this black and grey "Ashes" rendition which will reportedly arrive on October 28th for the retail price of $185.
According to Nike, the LeBron 15, designed by Jason Petrie, is the most technically advanced shoe of LeBron's career featuring an evolved Flyknit construction and an advanced cushioning system. LeBron has dubbed the Nike LeBron 15 his greatest sneaker yet.
“This is my favorite shoe to date,” says James. “The performance benefits and sophisticated look make this shoe a force on and off the court.”
“The number-one thing people should know about the LEBRON 15 is that this new Nike Flyknit is something that's never been done in a performance shoe,” notes James. “It looks great, too. Since Jason and I started working on the LEBRON VII, we have always talked about how we not only want to have the top, top, top notch in performance, we want style, as well. We have a desire to create shoes that makes all people feel good when they put it on.”
The shoe’s key innovations include a next-generation Flyknit construction that provides strategic stretch, a locked-in fit and durability. Underfoot is a fully articulated cushioning system that combines Max Air and Zoom Air units, while a full-bootie construction offers a secure, one-to-one fit.
In addition to the "Ashes" colorway, Nike will also be launching three additional LeBron 15 colorways in October, followed by many more as the NBA season rolls on.
