Chicago's Calez' is one of the most talented emcee's out of the city in recent times and with each release, he proves that his pen game stays as sharp as ever. Earlier this year, the rapper dropped off "Boss Sh!t" as a bit of a introduction to what you could expect off his project Poppa. Exactly two months later and the rapper delivers the project in its entirety.
Calez returns with his latest project Poppa. The short EP consists of five tracks and serves as his first project since 2016's Baby. His latest project hails features from some of his frequent collaborators, Mick Jenkins and Alex Wiley, as well as GG. He recruits Drake Connor for production on three out of the five songs on the project while Thelonious Martin, Carter Lang and Calev hold down the other two songs.
