Princess Nokia takes a stand against a racist man.

America is seeming like more of a divided country with every passing day, and it seems like every day, a new racially charged video goes viral. The latest of such incidents took place on a New York Subway, which can be hectic even in the best of times. In the clip, which is steadily growing in both views and notoriety, a drunken man can be seen wilding out, screaming all manner of nonsense. The dude, who claims to be a lawyer, proceeds to yell the N-word, not caring that there are plenty of black people present on the train. As he screams, a couple of people get in his face, and he quickly becomes public enemy number one.

After a scuffle breaks out, the racist man is forcefully pushed out of the train, but not before being showered in a sea of hot soup. While the soup-thrower was initially anonymous, NYC emcee Princess Nokia eventually came forward and claimed responsibility. She also explained her motivations in a powerful series of tweets, citing several prominent black female activists like  Angela Davis, Assata Shakur, Kathleen Cleaver and Elaine Browna as inspiration.

"This bigot called a group of teenage boys "n*ggers" on the train so I stood up and slapped him and everybody on the train backed me up," writes Nokia. "And yes I threw hot soup in this mans face and kicked him off off the train, and kicked in the face. Any other racists wanna try us again?" The rapper holds nothing back, and explains that the incident led to a strong showing of solidarity, as many of the passengers ultimately stood by her.

If you haven't seen the video you can check it out below. It's crazy to see shit like this popping off, and suffice it to say, the racist man will probably think twice before he starts popping off with racial slurs. Nobody is trying to hear that, especially not Princess Nokia.
