Jada Pinkett-Smith has denied reports that she is a scientologist, after actress Leah Remini claimed, in a recent interview, that she saw Jada at the Celebrity Centre while she was an active member.
Remini has since left Scientology and has devoted her time and efforts to exposing the controversial religion. She even won an Emmy for her documentary "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath."
During a recent interview with The Daily Beast, Leah Remini said,
"I know Jada’s in," Remini declared. "I know Jada’s in. She’s been in Scientology a long time. I never saw Will [Smith] there, but I saw Jada at the Celebrity Centre. They opened up a Scientology school, and have since closed it. But Jada, I had seen her at the Scientology Celebrity Centre all the time."
Early this morning, Jada disputed those claims in a series of tweets, one of which reads, "I have studied Dianetics, and appreciate the merits of Study Tech… but I am not a Scientologist."
