It's the morning after the BET Awards, and many still discussing Eminem's four minute Donald Trump ether. Still, the were a few memorable moments to be found in some of the other cyhphers, including one peculiar line from the Denzel Curry, Ski Mask The Slump God, Zoey Dollaz, and Ball Greezy session. During the South Florida showcase, Zoey Dollaz flipped on of Jay-Z's 4:44 lines, rapping "Jay told me never go Eric Benet/I say never go Joe Budden, and lose a bad chick like Tahiry all on TV.” The line was in reference to the time when Joe Budden proposed to Tahiry Jose on Love And Hip Hop, only to be rejected.
While Joe Budden is retired from the game (or is he?), the Everyday Struggle host was quick to fire off a Twitter reply, calling Dollaz "trash" and reportedly writing "Dude keep mentioning me like he can rap lol." The tweets appear to be deleted, but Zoey posted a screenshot of the exchange on his Instagram, where he proceeded to rally his fans in an effort to thwart the notorious Budden. "Uncle Joe!" writes Zoey. "EVERYBODY GO ON HOE BUDDEN PAGE AND DROP THE AND THE FLAG ON HIS SHIT!!!!!!!"
As it stands, the beef will presumably carry on, albeit one-sided, as Budden has retired from the mic. Still, it's a testament to Budden's rising influence, and "Media Joe's" shit-list continues to grow - Yachty, Troy Ave, Migos, and now Zoey Dollaz. It's unclear what prompted the shot from Zoey, but it should be noted that Dollaz has taken shots at Budden in the past, allegedly over Budden's comments on disgraced record mogul LA Reid.
What are ya'll thoughts on this "beef?" Do you ride with Zoey Dollaz, or are you backing Budden? There's no doubt that Budden will elaborate on Everyday Struggle, so look for an update later on in the day.
