Melo signature line reportedly over.

Carmelo Anthony won't have a new Jordan Brand signature sneaker to wear on court in OKC this season, according to a report by ESPN's Nick DePaula.

Jordan Brand has reportedly decided to discontinue the Melo signature line after a run of 13 models, including the Melo M13 which Carmelo wore last season and has laced up for the Thunder during the pre season thus far.

According to Nick DePaula, Melo's signature line is the fifth-longest in NBA history, behind only Michael Jordan (32 models), Kobe Bryant (17, across Nike and Adidas), LeBron James (15) and Allen Iverson (14, Reebok).

While Melo's signature sneakers have apparently been cut off, he will still rep for the brand moving forward and is expected to lace up a variety of Air Jordans including the newly unveiled Air Jordan 32. He signed a new long-term contract with Jordan Brand at the start of this year.

Carmelo has been wearing Air Jordans ever since his high school playing days for Jordan Brand-sponsored Oak Hill Academy. He continued his relationship with the Jumpman during his only, and national championship-winning, season with Syracuse in 2003, before officially signing with Jordan Brand prior to his rookie season.

During his rookie season with the Denver Nuggets, Carmelo laced up a plethora of retro and modern Air Jordan PEs, including the Air Jordan 2, Air Jordan 12 and Air Jordan 13. Now that his signature line has reportedly come to an end, it's possible that we'll see Melo take the court in some of those familiar Air Jordans - this time decked out in OKC flavors.

Jordan Brand recently unveiled a special edition Air Jordan 32 "Why Not" PE for Melo's new teammate, Russell Westbrook, which will be hitting retailers in limited quantities on November 22nd.
