EarthGang's time will come, if they continue to deliver "Nothin' But The Best."

Don't fool yourself into thinking that the lyricists have fled the South. Doctur Dot and Johnny Venus are living proof that the art-form is alive and well. With Royalty set for an imminent release of this Friday, Februrary 23rd, we have officially received this kingly offering. "Nothin' But The Best" continues where the experimental tones of predecessors Rags and Robots left off. While the comparisons to a young OutKast are frequent, there are also elements of a Sir Lucious Left Foot era Big Boi. One of the Gang's dopest qualities is their ability to blend impressive lyricism with daring production.

With innocent chimes juxtaposed against a menacing bass-line, Dot and Venus trade verses ripe with dense imagery. "Nothin' But The Best" is a promising look at the final chapter of their trilogy, which is ultimately meant to form into one cohesive journey. If you don't respect the vision, the door is that way.

Quotable Lyrics

Little did we know about the politics and the meetings
And these old ass pussy n****s caught up in they feelings
Rat race is everlastin' I'm an eagle to it,
Only super when I need to do it
Earn my stripes bitch I'm Beetlejuicin'
