Fans have been patiently waiting for the release of Killa Cam’s new album for a while now, but after a couple setbacks & delays, Killa Season 2 finally looks to be right around the corner. In fact, Cam recently said the album was finished, but before we’re treated to it he’s releasing a couple mixtapes first, including The Program 1 & 2.
“The album [Killa Season 2] is pretty much done. I got so much music." he said. "The studio’s in my house so I probably have 400 songs so what I plan on doing next month is releasing two mixtapes of music called The Program 1 and 2. That’s just music that didn’t make the album but I still think is dope.”
A couple days ago, Cam’ron informed us that The Program would be dropping this Saturday, November 11th, but before it arrives Cam has been giving us a taste of what's to come. First he previewed a song when he announced the mixtape’s release date last week, and then he did it again Wednesday night with another song produced by Just Blaze. However you might recognize the same beat being used from Rick Ross’ 2011 cut “I Love My Bitches,” but it’s still fire nonetheless.
Taking to his Instagram, Cam previews the upcoming song off The Program while driving in his car, and he left the following caption…
“@justblaze u ready??!! 🎧🎤" u gave me head in the park, u mad well fuck it, ain't my fault u don't know how to act in public" #Theprogram #MoschinoMagic #FleeBarcelona,” which happens to be same lyrics rapped over the sampled record.
This new preview follows up Cam’ron’s latest contribution to Blackbear’s “Bright Pink Toms” record and his remix to Cindy Lauper’s “Time After Time,” which he dubbed "Dime After Dime."
Check out the new preview from Killa Cam (below) and let us know what you think! The Program arrives in 3 days from now, stay tuned.
