LeBron says, "if it's not from me, it's not true."

LeBron James was asked today about the ESPN report that claimed, citing anonymous sources, he would consider meeting with the Golden State Warriors this summer once he becomes a free agent.

LeBron told reporters he initially laughed at the report, but also became upset because it questions what he's trying to do in Cleveland right now.

LeBron says the report by ESPN's Chris Haynes is "nonsense." He told reporters, per ESPN,

"There's been so many stories about me the last few months and the last few days about where I'm going and where I'm at and what place I'm in. ... I'm here. I'm right here, and I'm right now, and this is my present, and this is where I'm at," James said.

"If you don't hear something coming from my voice, then it's not true. I don't give a damn how close they are, if it's my kids, my wife or whatever -- if it's not from me, it's not true."

"I never said that," he said. "I never said that I would sit down with Golden State, or sit down with anybody. I've never talked about any other team throughout my journey."

Bottom line, there's going to be speculation and rumors no matter what. We'll just have to wait and see where LeBron ends up when the time comes. In the meantime, his focus is getting the Cavs back to the NBA Finals.

Cleveland is currently sitting in third place in the Eastern Conference with a 30-20 record. The Cavs will host the Houston Rockets tomorrow night at 8:30pm ET, a game that will air on ABC.
