James Blake delivers his latest single "If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead."

James Blake's moved from being one of the most revered and enigmatic figures in R&B to working alongside Drake, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce and plenty of other massive stars. He hasn't released music in a long time but it's looking like he might have a new project on the way at some point this year. After announcing the return of his BBC Radio 1 radio show, he comes with a new song and video that he premiered earlier tonight.

James Blake drops off his latest single "if The Car Beside You Moves Ahead." It's one of th first releases we've got from him in a long time. Blake continues to innovate his sound with each release and his latest single shows where he's at right now. It's glitchy, trippy and minimalistic. It lives up to the standard of a James Blake song.

Hopefully, this is a hint at an upcoming album from the U.K. singer.

Quotable Lyrics
If the car beside you moves ahead
As much as it feels as though you’re dead
You’re not going backwards
