Fox Sports called on Lil Wayne to help kickoff the NFL's Week 2 action yesterday, which included him lip synching a special NFL edition of the classic "Friends Theme" song.
For example, the hook goes something like,
“Please, don’t go 0-2 (just ’cause you can’t catch a ball)/Don’t go 0-2 (you’ve never been there before)/Don’t go 0-2 (I bet my whole paycheck on you).”
Wayne, an avid, Green Bay Packers fan, did not have to worry about his squad starting the season 0-2, since the Pack picked up a Week 1 win against the Seattle Seahawks. However, the Packers could not contain Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night, falling to the defending NFC Champs by the final of 34-23. Aaron Rodgers and co. will have an opportunity to bounce back in Week 3 when they return to home to Lambeau Field for a matchup with the 0-2 Cincinnati Bengals.

While Weezy has been out of commission as of late due to seizures he suffered just weeks ago, his manager Cortez Bryant assured his fans that he won't be taking any breaks in the near future. When asked by TMZ earlier this month if Lil Wayne would follow doctor's orders and take a few weeks off, Bryant responded (per XXL Mag),
“I tell him that all the time but I don’t think that’s gonna work, man,” Bryant told TMZ. “He a workaholic. That’s what got him to where he is now man. He’s just [in] the studio all the time trying to make music, get through this situation and give his fans what they need.”
“He’s a epileptic, so that’s the reality of it. You know, so it’s something that we’re gonna have to deal with for the rest of his life and, you know, we’ll just make sure he’s popping meds and try to force him to get some rest, but sometimes he doesn’t do that. But it’s something that, it’s not gonna hinder us and stop us.”
