It’s been a minute since we last heard from Kent Jones. In fact, the last time the We The Best artist impacted our site was back in July when he teamed up with Luke Nasty for a song called “Catch A Vibe,” but thankfully that drought ends here today. After a warning from DJ Khaled on Tuesday, the Florida artist decides to come through and share his new single called “Merengue.”
Just as the title depicts, “Merengue” is a Caribbean style dance record that will make fans want to get up off their chairs and onto the dance floor. Highlighted by its upbeat Caribbean-infused production & catchy sing-along lyrics, “Merengue” has the potential for some radio & international success. No word yet as for where it will end up, or if it’s just a loose single, but we’ll definitely take it.
