DJ Khaled is big with a vengeance! Earlier this week, the We The Best mogul announced that he was going to kick off the campaign to his forthcoming album this Friday by revealing its title and unleashing the first single from it. Having already shared the album title last night, Father Of Asahd, DJ Khaled decides to stay true to his word & come through this morning with the first single off the album called “Top Off” featuring Jay Z, B (Beyonce) & Future.
You might realize this isn’t the first time Khaled has called on the Carters for assistance on a track. Just last year, he followed the same formula and kicked off his Grateful campaign by calling on Jay Z & Beyonce for his lead single “Shining.” Then the year before that, he teamed with JAY-Z and Future for the song “I Got the Keys” off 2016’s Major Key. So it’s safe to say he likes working with three superstars, and can you blame him? This shit hard af.
Available now on iTunes, take a listen to the monster collab and let us know what you think. Does Khaled have himself a new hit here?
Quotable Lyrics:
V12, see ya, 12 (bye)
I do the whole dash with no seatbelt
Screamin', "Free my nigga, Meek Mill"
Niggas can't wheelie in this free world
Meanwhile Georgie Porgie sinnin' and sendin' me threats
Save your breath, you couldn't beat a flight of steps
Try that shit with a grown man
- Jay Z
