"Honey Berry" is the definition of lovelorn Bourne.

Rapper slash producer Pi'erre Bourne is on his fuck love tip. Perhaps he simply grew tired of Valentine's Day PDA, but likely, the hurt runs deeper. Regardless, the multi-talented Bourne has fired back with "Honey Berry," an affirmation that yes, he'll be alright. Complete with Andy Warhol inspired artwork, Pi'erre's latest single continues to expand on his sound, proving there's more to him than "Magnolia." He does share a similarity to Playboi Carti, favoring a melodic style of repetition.

It's evident that he's cut from the same cloth as the SoundCloud generation, although his song clocks in at a staggering three minutes, making it unique where SoundCloud bangers are concerned. While Pi'erre's vocals are generally drenched in Autotune, some clever references cut through the noise. With name-drops to Shia LaBoeuf and Optimus Prime, one wonders if he recently underwent a Transformers marathon. Either way, "Honey Berry" is another chapter in the Bourne saga.

Quotable Lyrics

Shia Labeouf, pull up in a truck
Optimus Prime, I can't save us
Just I, nice try, goodbye, you fired
