The father of three daughters who have been abused by Larry Nassar tried to attack the former doctor just moments ago in a Michigan court room during his sentencing case. Unfortunately, security rushed the father and brought him to the ground before he could get to Nassar.
Randall Margraves' outburst came just moments after two of his daughters spoke about the abuse they suffered at the hands of Nassar. Margraves' third daughter had addressed the court at Nassar's sentencing in neighboring Ingham County last month, according to CNN.
After listening to his daughters' emotional recount of Nassar's abuse, Randall Margraves addressed the court and asked the judge for a few minutes alone with the "demon."
"I would ask you, as part of the sentencing to grant me five minutes in a locked room with this demon," he asked. "Would you give me one minute?"The judge declined, saying "that's not how our legal system works."
Margraves was led out of the courtroom in handcuffs as Michigan Assistant Attorney General Angela Povilaitis told him, per CNN, "You cannot behave like this. "This is letting him have his power over us." Margraves reportedly responded, "You haven't lived through it, lady."
Nassar, a former doctor for USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University, has pleaded guilty to 10 criminal sexual conduct charges across two Michigan counties, and has already been sentenced to 175 years in prison.
