Smith-Schuster and George Iloka to serve one-game suspensions.

The NFL has announced that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Cincinnati Bengals safety, George Iloka, have both been suspended for one game stemming from hits they delivered during Monday night's vicious game. According to ESPN, both players intend on appealing their suspension.

According to the NFL's official ruling, Smith-Schuster was suspended for a devastating fourth-quarter block on Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who they deemed was in a defenseless posture. After Pittsburgh's 23-20 win, Antonio Brown repeatedly yelled "Karma" while Smith-Schuster spoke with reporters about the play.

Ioka was suspended for a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit on Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown in the end zone during the fourth quarter, when Brown was deemed to be a defenseless receiver. AB somehow managed to hang onto the game-tying TD pass, despite the vicious hit.

Shortly after the suspensions were announced, Steelers safety Mike Mitchell came to the defense of Iloka, as well as his teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster. Iloka retweeted the following message from Mitchell.

The Steelers, 10-2, will host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14, while the Bengals take on the Chicago Bears.
