Flavor Flav wasn't having a very good week last week when he landed in jail after an argument over infidelity escalated into a physical attack from Flav onto his fiancée and her 17-year-old son. Flav held his fiancée, Elizabeth Trujillo, down before ripping out her earrings. Her son was not injured during the incident.
The 53-year-old rapper is currently facing charges of a felony assault and misdemeanor domestic battery. He could face up to six years in prison if he's convicted of the assault charge, and six months in jail on the domestic battery. However, Flavor Flav's attorney, Tony Abbatangelo, has told the AP that the emcee wants to reconcile with his girlfriend and work things out.
Abbatangelo says, "They've been together a long time, and they want to work this out. We want what's best for the family."
Abbatangelo says Flavor Flav plans to fight the case and to plead not guilty to the charges brought upon him.
