Late last year, Nicki Minaj released her new album Pink Friday 2. The project arrived after a 5 year gap dating back to her last studio album Queen in 2018 The new project arrived on the back of hit singles like "Super Freaky Girl" and "Red Ruby Da Sleeze." It also spawned even more hits of its own with tracks like "Everybody" and "FTCU." The latter recently got an explosive new remix that saw Nicki crossing paths with Travis Scott, Chris Brown, and Sexyy Red.
Fans who loved the record and who have loved Nicki for years were delighted by the announcement that followed. She unveiled the "Pink Friday 2" world tour which became her highest-selling tour to date during its presale phase. Now the tour is wrapping up its North American leg and Nicki is reflecting on the record breaking success of the venture. According to The Neighborhood Talk, Nicki just became the first rapper to sell out every arena on her tour, resulting in an incredibly impressive 36 sold out stadium shows. She took to Instagram to celebrate the accomplishment and reflect on the first leg of her tour. Check out what she had to say about her success below.

"I’d like to thank EVERYONE who’s become a #GagCityResident. I’d like to thank the incredible ppl who whether on stage or behind the stage, every single night, have been the most incredible, talented & reliable ppl on earth in order to make this show happen for the Barbz in the most over the top, stunning & unique way" her Instagram caption reads. At the end of the post she looks forward to taking off on the international part of the tour. But she also teases fans by musing on the idea that she could potentially even add more US dates to the tour at some point.
