Amid the rape allegations against Nelly, his accuser has now come forward saying the rapper is bullying and intimidating her.
TMZ reports that the victim's attorney, Karen Koehler, has issued a letter to Nelly and his attorney, Scott Rosenblum, stating that his verbal attacks can up the level of crime to his already existing case.
"It is morally reprehensible for an accused person and his bully lawyer to issue derogatory and defamatory statements against a young alleged rape victim," Koehler writes in the letter. "It is also criminal -- in the State of Washington -- when those vicious attacks are issued in the form of threats."
Koehler then aims her words to Nelly's lawyer, saying it is ridiculous to be accusing the victim of having a secret agenda and coming after Nelly for "money, fame and notoriety."
Rosenblum has fired back at Koehler advising her to re-read the 'intimidating a witness' statue and suggests she stop talking to biased witnesses. Adding, "Nelly will continue to respond to her client's baseless allegations."
Since Nelly has been put in the spotlight for his alleged rape case that is said to have taken place in Washinton while he was on tour, T.I. posted a video to his Instagram sharing his opinion on rape culture - more specifically the dangers of false rape accusations.
"After Mike Tyson…after muthafuckin’ Tupac…after all the other muthafuckaz who done been with girls and the girls got mad for whatever reason and left off and said that they raped them or whatnot…what the fuck ever happened when a muthafucka find out that the bitch was lying my ni**a? What consequences is there for this young lady?" T.I. said in his video.
“If more than twelve find us guilty, we got to answer to that. But, if we find out that this wasn’t true, what the fuck happen to her? I’m sick of this shit, know what I mean? I’m just saying—we ain’t no muthafuckin’ targets. Get your shit together.”
Although T.I. doesn't mention Nelly's name in the video it's clear that it's in response to the allegations. Akon weighed in on the matter tweeting at Nelly to "stay strong."
