Khalid & Normani drop off "Love Lies" just in time for Valentine's Day.

There's been rumors of Fifth Harmony splitting up for good after Normani landed a solo record deal. While there's no confirmation from other members of the group, she's moving closer to establishing herself as a solo entity. Today, her and Khalid link up for a new record off of the Love, Simon soundtrack.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Khalid and Normani link up on their new duet "Love Lies. While Khalid takes control at first, Normani proves her strengths as a solo artist and this song is a great way of establishing herself as such. Normani spoke to Zane Lowe about the song and said that the recording it was a "growing process for her."

"I feel like people are actually getting like a sense of who I actually am." She said, "Being in the studio and partnering with Khalid, it actually tells me more about myself that I didn't necessarily know was even there. This is definitely [a] growing process and I can't wait. I'm so excited for the journey."

Khalid and Normani's voices compliment each other well on this track. Hopefully, they drop off another duet whenever Normani decides to release a solo project.

Quotable Lyrics
Are you down for the ride?
It's not easy for someone to catch my eye
But I've been waiting for you for my whole damn life
For my whole lifetime
