Earlier this morning, news broke that Quavo allegedly beat and robbed celebrity jeweler, Eric The Jeweler, on Sunday night at a Grammys after-party. Eric reported the incident to the cops on Tuesday morning and claimed that Quavo and another man beat him down before robbing his chain that's worth $30K. In the initial report, the altercation occurred after the two of them got into a heated argument about money that Quavo owes him. However, it turns out it may not have been Quavo's debt that started the fight.
Quavo and Eric The Jeweler allegedly got into it over Offset's debt, according to TMZ. According to their sources, Eric The Jeweler ran into Quavo at 1Oak in New York City during a Grammys afterparty which is when he confronted him about Offset's $10K debt. TMZ's law enforcement sources have confirmed this is what he said in his police report. The jeweler said he got beaten down by Quavo and one of his affiliate which resulted in minor injuries including a swollen cheek, bloody nose and a bump on his head. Police are also seeking to find footage from 1Oak that evening.
Since news broke earlier this morning, the police are looking to speak to Takeoff, Offset and Quavo about the situation as well as their manager. However, it's been confirmed that Offset and Takeoff weren't involved in the scuffle. Quavo nor any of the other members of the Migos have addressed the accusations.
