Eric Bellinger is making the case for a 24/7 Valentine's Day.

Holiday themed bangers are a risky subgenre, but every so often a true gem ensues. With the year's most romantic evening transpiring tomorrow, it seems as if the debonair vocalist Eric Bellinger has decided to shoot his proverbial shot, lacing up the dulcet "Valentine." While opening lines "would you be" giving a clear hint of the track's trajectory, Bellinger's sheer conviction rivals that of one standing beneath the windowsill of his beloved, boom-box in hand.

It's not all Hallmark sentimentality on this one, as Bellinger proudly lets his freak flag fly, announcing his willingness to "suck on toes" among other foibles. It's a well-rounded depiction of a Valentine's Day gone right; intimacy, wine, dinner, sex and candy. In a press release, Bellinger revealed his intention behind the Chase N. Cashe produced "Valentine," stating there's "such a negative vibe around this time... I’m just glad I been blessed with the ability to articulate Love in a way that ONLY I could!"

Quotable Lyrics

When we vibe, you feel a way
Between your legs is a dinner plate
Swimming pools in the summer babe
