The Oakland Raiders, 2-3, suffered their third straight loss yesterday afternoon at the hands of the visiting Baltimore Ravens, and Raider Nation was none too pleased. In fact, some fans were even ready to fight Raiders players as they exited the stadium.
As shown in the video below, Raiders 6'5 300-pound offensive lineman Donald Penn got out of his Rolls-Royce and confronted an angry fan in the parking lot after last night's 30-17 loss. According to Penn, the fan threw a bottle at his Rolls-Royce which is why he got out of the car but ultimately decided to walk away before things escalated further.
As it turns out, the Raiders "fan" who heckled Penn in the video had actually been dreaming of Penn punching him in the face so that he could sue the 34-year old lineman. After the post-game altercation, Penn tweeted out the following screenshot which proves the fan's motives.
Penn shared the same images on his official instagram account with a caption that reads,
"To all athletes out there be aware of fake fans like this dude really tried to extort me he had this all planned out and was tryna get a payday Im glad I didn't punch Lil dude in the mouth glad I took a sec to think I apologize to #raidernation for my behavior but I am human PS I'm only leaving this up today not giving this coward anymore than his lil 15min of fame"
Raiders fans who aren't looking to extort their players will be happy to know that quarterback Derek Carr is expected to play next Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Carr was inactive for yesterday's loss to Baltimore due to a back injury he suffered during the Raiders' Week 4 loss to the Denver Broncos.
