Royce Da 5'9" and DJ Premier hold it down for another "Era."

Since Royce Da 5'9" rapped the iconic line "me and Premier we kind of the same in ways, we both speak with our hands in dangerous ways," it solidified his musical partnership with the legendary producer. Nearly two decades later, Royce and Premier are on the verge of dropping their new album PRhyme 2, and have recently shared the project's new visuals. "Era", which features fellow lyricist Dave East, is something of a political statement, albeit with an overall sense of subtlety. Yes, somebody chokes out a Klansman, but the minimalist nature of the cinematography keeps it from feeling too "in-your-face."

If you're one of those people lamenting the rise of "mumble rap," what are you waiting for? Support PRhyme, and check out Royce Da 5'9" and DJ Premier's latest collaboration. The full album is set to drop on March 16th, and is rumored to feature Yelawolf, 2 Chainz, Rapsody and more.
