Young Nudy has had a big year. The rapper introduced to many as 21 Savage's cousin has made a name for himself through his collaborations with Pi'erre Bourne, a producer he's been working with from day one, long before "Yo Pi'erre, you wanna come out here?" was on the tip of everyone's tongue. Following Slimeball 2 and Nudy Land, Nudy has shared a new standalone track today called "No Deal." As the title suggests, it's a celebration of the rapper's independence, which now is very much a conscious choice, as labels are no doubt pursuing the rapper. It's a collaboration with Will-A-Fool, and works within the same sonic scope as his songs with Pi'erre.
In an HNHH interview earlier this year, Nudy challenged the assumption that his sound is "evil," revealing that he feels it's a lot more fun than people are willing to admit. "I call 'em 'life beats.' Energy beats. Beats that give you life and energy," he said. "Cut that motherfucker on and they can feel me."
Quotable Lyrics:
Whole lotta money
Yeah, I'm livin' like that
Shootin' like that
Talkin' like that, walkin' like that
Pipin' like that
Bitch, I'm really livin' 'bout that
