Anyone who's spent any time with the respective catalogues of Conway and Raekwon should know that their styles are highly complementary. On "TH3RD F," a highlight from Conway's new GOAT tape, the two sound just as natural as you'd expect. Regular collaborator Daringer lays a dusty loop with no additional drums, creating a perfect texture for Conway to place his casually stylish lines. With no hook, there's room for a full 3 minutes of bars before Raekwon eventually enters after a short intro. He has a shorter verse but packs more syllables and internal rhymes into his take, making for a great contrast to Conway's energy.
Conway is very selective with his collaborators across the project, picking from a stable of largely New York rappers (Lloyd Banks, Styles P, the late Prodigy) and one Detroit legend (Royce Da 5'9").
