Gucci Mane has a long history with Southside. Many were introduced to the 808 Mafia producer through Gucci and Waka Flocka's Ferrari Boyz project, where he provided the majority of the production. Gucci's latest finds Southside behind the boards for the entirety of the album, and their chemistry is still very much there. On "Sea Sick," an early highlight from the LP released Friday, Southside provides a squeaking synth line that creates a woozy feel that lives up to the title. Meanwhile, Gucci is at his most playful on the track, sounding goofy and loose in a way that recalls his early work. The whole project arrives with the natural energy and presentation as Gucci's mixtape days, eschewing features altogether and instead zoning in on the collaborative relationship between emcee and producer.

Quotable Lyrics:
I'm with Gucci gang but I ain't Lil Pump
This ain't a lil pump this a big drum
Didn't join the band I never went to prom
East Atlanta slum wop I'm one-of-one
I'm with Southside, he run the mafia
You hear the 808s them the crazy guns
