Meet a new voice from Baton Rouge.

Baton Rouge has given us some considerable talent over the years. Boosie, Kevin Gates, and more recently YoungBoy Never Broke Again all broke out of the Lousiana city, and all three of them received a lot of regional support before making their name on a nation-wide level. Infamous Thierry is a newer voice coming out of Baton Rouge, and he bears some resemblance to the aforementioned artists. His track "I Remember" plays on the same melancholic, almost bluesy melodies we've heard from his predecessors. At the same time, his auto-tuned raps fit in with rap's younger generation, and his words captivate. "When I was on my ass, I remember who was there," he raps, looking back at where he came from. "I remember / Hustlin' them nights / It was colder than December / When I ain't have no jacket for the winter."

Thierry is approaching a million views on the video for "I Remember," and it's not his only big performer on the platform, hinting that he has a strong regional following that's now spilling over much like YoungBoy's before him.

Quotable Lyrics:
Feel like I get closer to God
Every time I rhyme
All them times I cried
All them times I tried
Finally found out
Had to put aside my pride
I made it out the hood
I was hustlin' in the projects
