It looks like DMX is taking his talents to the small screen. According to Variety, the former 44-year old Ruff Ryder rapper is getting his own reality show & docu-series called In The Dog House, which will be released via Kingdom Reign Entertainment.
The series will reportedly give viewers an intimate look inside the life of the Yonkers legend. Following everything from his recent release from drug rehab and working on his upcoming new album to attempting to repair his relationship with his 15 children and their mothers, X will give cameras access into his everyday life.
“I’m just excited to get back out there and show my fans that I’m still a force to be reckoned with in hip hop, and invite them into my vast world of spirituality and growth,” X reportedly said about the upcoming series.
Produced by Carlos King, the series will be taken to market this month and shopped around while X will serve as the executive producer alongside King. “Although DMX has been a lightning rod of controversy, he’s one of the greatest performers in all of music,” said King. “We’re thrilled to take this ride with him and look forward to helping him tell his story that we feel viewers will be intrigued by and startled to see.”
This news comes just weeks after X was spotted in court last month looking healthy & having gained some weight while currently being in rehab. He had been in court for a hearing on his tax evasion case stemming from this Summer when he was arrested in July on 14 counts of tax evasion, but since then things are definitely look to be trending in the right trajectory for X at the moment.
