Juelz Santana has given us a lot of new music this year, and he's not slowing down as 2017 wraps up. "Money Way" is a new collaboration with Young King. It actually features only one verse from Juelz, while King contributes both the hook and a verse himself. The track sounds like it could have come out of Atlanta, featuring a flute riff and some a big sub bassline. Juelz adapts accordingly, falling on a more nimble flow that's not as obsessed with multi-syllabic rhymes as his past work. It's a catchy, low stakes single that shows he's still got his head in the game and will hopefully be delivering his next project The Get Back in the near future.
Juelz has also reunited with the Diplomats, who released their video for Once Upon A Time earlier this week. Look out for an EP from the group in the new year.
Quotable Lyrics:
All this time we been out here
Sellin' drugs, doin' crime
Call it payin' for your sins, n***a
Givin' back, payin' ties
Real n***as on the rise
Fake n***as in the way
We want a slice of the pie
A piece of the cake
Or we goin' ape
