After sharing "I'm Ballin" earlier this year, Jersey Club icon DJ Jayhood has teamed with Fetty Wap once again on "Got The Load." Like their last collaboration, Jayhood contributes vocals as well as production, sounding very natural next to Fetty, who supplies the catchy rapped hook. Even if you're not up on Jersey Club, you'll know Jayhood indirectly through his flip of UK bassline single "Heartbroken," which inspired DJ Khaled and Drake's "To The Max."
Jayhood released his official debut album KING on Local Action Records in March.
Meanwhile, Fetty Wap has released two fairly under-the-radar projects this year, both of which worthy of your attention. In June, he shared Lucky Number 7, which he followed with For My Fans II in October. He has yet to release the official follow-up his 2015 debut album Fetty Wap.
Quotable Lyrics:
You best pick up the phone though
I got the load on me
Leave the streets alone
Swear it got a hold on me
Everywhere I go
Bitches say they know of me
And we let it go
Most these n***as hoes
