Lil Wayne seems to not have a care in the world when it comes to what others have to say about him. The Young Money head honcho received a ton of backlash when he declared his distaste for the state of New York, however, none of that backlash (which included a politician calling out Weezy to make a public apology) fazed Lil Wayne.
While talking to Rob Markman of MTV (via HHW) Lil Wayne says he wasn't even aware of the public's reaction to his comments. "I don't even know the reaction, but if I knew the reaction I would be able to answer that question. I just say what I want to say, do what I want to do and fuck who don't like it."
When asked if he had heard Fabolous' record "So NY" where he mentions Weezy in the hook ("I'm so New York, Weezy probably don't like me") Wayne's responded, "I don't listen to nothing but myself cause i'm just trying to get better, cause I always think about what I could've said or done better, so...sorry."
