Styles P and Jadakiss are among hip-hop's most consistent acts, and the Lox duo have continued to provide us listeners with quality content for nearly two decades. Last week, the D Block brothers linked up with Harlem rapper Nino Man for "Friends," and while the album art borrowed from the hit NBC sitcom, thankfully the trifecta didn't rap over the theme song. This time around, Nino, Styles, Jada and Cory Gunz have teamed up for "You Hot," which features solid verses from each party. And while the beat is a little on the safe side, it's hard to go wrong with a collaboration like this.
Unfortunately, Jadakiss doesn't actually contribute a verse, opting instead to do minor vocals on the chorus. This time, it's Cory Gunz who steals the show with a rapid fire verse, spitting bars like "bustin' a tech, I'll never get enough of that, or gettin' head in a car crash cause I'm a fuckin' wreck." Check it out now.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm cold-hearted with somewhat respect
I slit your throat in a blizzard and give a scarf to cover your neck
You robbed a n***a right on the block, right on the spot
Where we keep the damn grams rifles and glocks
Now we caught up whether we like it or not
